Join us for an exciting 2-part beginner’s class where you’ll master the fundamentals of knitting! Whether you're brand new or need a refresher, this class will give you the confidence to get started. By the end of the series, you’ll complete a sweet cotton face cloth—and be ready to tackle your next project.
What You’ll Learn:
Casting on, the knit and purl stitches, how to combine stitches to create texture and pattern, and how to bind off your work.
Skill Level: Beginner - no experience necessary!
Materials Needed:
Pattern: Washcloth with Garter Stitch Edge (pattern supplied)
Yarn: 1 skein cotton yarn (recommended: Plymouth Fantasy, Cascade Splash, Noble Cotton, or Universal Cotton)
Needles: US 7 (5.0 mm) 24” circular needles
Notions: Tapestry/darning needle
We ask that all yarn for classes be purchased in the shop. 10% discount will be applied.
Class Size: 6 person max. Must have two registered for class to occur.
Instructor: Lisa has been knitting for over 10 years and brings a warm, encouraging teaching style to every class.
