Boost your knitting skills in this Braided Headband class while learning how to cable without a cable needle. This stylish project is a great way to build confidence with cabling while creating a beautiful accessory.

In this class you’ll learn:

  • How to work a front (left-leaning) cable without a cable needle
  • How to work a back (right-leaning) cable without a cable needle

By the end of the class, you’ll have new cabling techniques to add to your knitting toolkit along with a lovely braided headband.

Skill Level: Intermediate knitters who are comfortable with casting on, knit, purl, increasing, decreasing, and bind off

Class Materials: 

  • Pattern: Braided Headband
  • Yarn: Worsted or Aran, 66 - 71 yards (60 - 65 m)
  • Needles: Size US 7-9 needles, depending on yarn selection
  • Optional Button

We ask that all yarn for classes be purchased in the shop. 10% discount will be applied. Materials can be purchased at the shop prior to class.

All classes must be paid in advance. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 72 hours before the start of class to receive a full refund. Cancellations made 48–72 hours before the start of class are eligible for store credit only. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before class, as well as missed classes, are not eligible for a refund or store credit. No exceptions.

Class Size: 6 person max. Must have two registered for class to occur.

Christine has been knitting for almost 20 years and crocheting for close to 30. While she makes all things ranging from socks to shawls to stuffed toys, her favorite thing to knit is a sweater. On the rare occasion she is not knitting, you can find Christine gardening, baking sourdough, running, or at Disney.
