Creative Mending Workshop

Keep the Earth Day Spirit Going

Discover the art of repair as a form of creative expression that extends the life of worn or damaged garments; skills that support a more sustainable way of living by keeping well-loved clothing in use and out of the landfill. We’ll cover stitches for hemming, reverse appliqué, and an introduction to darning; focusing on approachable techniques you can return to again and again.

Guided by Teaching Artist Jenny Santa Maria, this workshop treats needlework as both a useful life skill and a creative, empowering act of care.

This is a relaxed Sip & Craft BYOB workshop—feel free to bring your favorite beverage and enjoy a creative, social evening while you stitch.

Class Size: 12 person max. Must have two registered for class to occur.
