The Magic Loop technique allows you to knit small circumference projects—like mittens, socks, tops of hats, or sleeves—in the round using a single long cabled needle (32" or longer), so there’s no need for double-pointed needles or two sets of cables.
In this class, you’ll focus on learning Magic Loop by making a swatch tube; we won’t be creating a specific project, but rather mastering the technique itself. You’ll learn how to cast on for Magic Loop, knit using the method, and avoid “laddering” in your work, giving you the confidence to tackle small circular projects with ease.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner-Intermediate. Must know how to cast on, knit, purl, work in the round, bind off.
Instructor: Christine Hodan
