Skill Building KNIT: Magic Loop

The Magic Loop technique lets you knit small-circumference projects—like mittens, socks, hat tops, and sleeves—using one long circular needle. It’s an essential skill for many of our upcoming classes, including our Two-at-a-Time Sock Class in January!

In this session, you’ll learn how to cast on, knit in the round, and avoid “laddering” while practicing on a simple swatch tube. No project—just focused skill-building to set you up for success.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner-Intermediate. Must know how to cast on, knit, purl, work in the round, bind off.
